Terms of Service

LabelUp is operated by X-Up LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using LabelUp, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

LabelUp is a home organization and inventory management platform that helps users organize storage spaces, labels, and item information using QR codes and related tools.

1. Accounts

You may be required to create an account to use certain features of LabelUp.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • Maintaining access to your login credentials
  • All activity occurring under your account

You must provide accurate information and may not use LabelUp for unlawful or abusive purposes.

2. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload to LabelUp, including:

  • Labels
  • Item information
  • Images
  • Organization data
  • Shared space content

You grant LabelUp a limited license to store, process, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

You are responsible for the content you upload and share.

3. Shared Spaces and Collaboration

LabelUp may allow users to create or participate in shared spaces and collaborative organizational environments.

By sharing information with other users, you acknowledge that:

  • Shared collaborators may view or modify shared content depending on permissions
  • You are responsible for the information you choose to share
  • We are not responsible for disputes between collaborators or shared-space participants

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain features may require a paid subscription.

Subscription billing and payment processing are handled by Stripe.

Subscription Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing date.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal or by contacting support@getxup.com.

If you cancel, your subscription benefits will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or experienced a technical issue, contact:

support@getxup.com

We reserve the right to approve or deny refund requests at our discretion.

Downgrades

If a paid subscription ends or is canceled:

  • Existing user content will generally remain accessible
  • Certain premium features may become unavailable
  • Free-tier usage limits may apply going forward

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use LabelUp for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • Upload malicious code or abusive content
  • Abuse shared-space or collaboration features
  • Use automated systems to excessively access or scrape the service
  • Circumvent usage limits, billing systems, or account restrictions

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

LabelUp may experience:

  • Downtime
  • Bugs
  • Maintenance periods
  • Feature changes
  • Data loss events

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

7. Intellectual Property

LabelUp, including its software, branding, design, and related materials, is owned by X-Up LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of LabelUp itself.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, X-Up LLC and LabelUp shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Lost profits
  • Data loss
  • Business interruption
  • Consequential damages

Your use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to LabelUp if:

  • These Terms are violated
  • Abuse or fraud is suspected
  • Required by law
  • Necessary to protect the service or users

You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted within the application or website with revised effective dates when appropriate.
